• The high volume of air moved means this unit is capable of extracting from up to three machines simultaneously or through a longer hose system than smaller machines. Hose systems can include branches off to different dust producing machines around the workshop. The maximum recommended hose length between extractor and collection point is 10 metres. There is no limit to the total length of hose used in the network but any unused branches must be capped off or closed using a gate when not in use.  
• Supplied with a steel fan, 3 way outlet, four rubber wheels NVR switch and quick release metal straps on all bags. A 16 amp supply is required to run this machine. Hose is not supplied as standard, our 100mm diameter transparent hose is recommended, sold by the metre.
• We also have a large range of accessories available for connecting your dust extractor to the dust producing machinery. Reducers to join the 100mm diameter hose to the smaller diameter outlets usually found on bench top machinery. Hoods to collect dust from machinery with no purpose made collection points.

• This HEPA graded filter is the very finest level of filtration available in the market today. Not every application needs this level of filtration, but if you do want to achieve the highest level of clean air possible then this filter upgrade will provide that.
• This cartridge filter can be used to upgrade any chip extractor with a 500mm diameter collection drum. Replace the cloth filtration bag or standard cartridge filter with a HEPA H13 grade to increase the filtration performance. This cartridge will filter out 99.95% of particles at 0.3 micron size and above. The extra deep pleats in the filter material, increase the surface area of the filter so that there is no loss in air flow compared to the original cloth filter.
• This allows the extractor to be used for operations which produce very fine dust such as sanding and cutting MDF. The particle size of fine woodworking dust is generally between 2 and 3 microns. Research shows 99% of wood dust, produced by machining softwood, hardwood or MDF, is within that range. The extractor can still be used with all the normal workshop machines which produce dust and chips, such as: bandsaws, table saws, planers, thicknessers and spindle moulders.
• The cartridge is very simple to install, simply remove the cloth bag and support arm on the extractor then fit the cartridge in its place. A metal quick action clamp secures the cartridge in place.

• To ensure the filter stays unclogged without any deterioration in performance the filter includes an internal cleaning device. Gently rotating the handles, moves the internal paddles which clean the inside of the filter and prevent clogging.
• How Often Should It Be Cleaned? To maintain optimum performance, we recommend: Every time the extractor is turned off, or every 15 minutes during prolonged periods of running. It can be cleaned whilst the extractor is still running.
• What Is A Cleaning Cycle? Rotate the handle 2 full turns in each direction.
• What Are The Symptoms Of A Clogged Filter? 1) Because the air cannot escape from inside the extractor there is a build up of pressure inside. Air will be forced out of joins and seals which are normally airtight. Dust might be seen leaking out from unexpected places.
• 2) There will be a significant drop in airflow, and therefore collection performance, of the extractor.
