• The SQ-90 Tormek Square is designed for accurate, repeatable setup work. It is fully cast in zinc for durability and dimensional stability. It features a hole for a key ring or similar attachment, making it easy to keep close at hand in the workshop. The Tormek logo is clearly marked on both sides.
• The SQ-90 Tormek Square is compatible with all Tormek sharpening systems and intended for general sharpening use where precision setup and control are essential.
• Check that the edge on chisels and other square edge tools is exactly 90°.
• Check the grindstone for trueness using the straight reference edge.
• Draw a straight reference line across the grinding wheel, useful for setting up the SVD-186 R Gouge Jig or the SE-77 Square Edge Jig.
• Measure the approximate edge angle of your tools using the five integrated V-shaped grooves at 25°, 30°, 35°, 40°, and 45°.
