 Gear Clamp: A gear clamp is not as commonly used in woodworking as it is in plumbing or automotive contexts. However, in woodworking, a gear clamp is bar-style clamp with a ratcheting or geared handle that allows fast, controlled tightening. It is a hybrid between a traditional F-clamp and a quick-release clamp, but with added mechanical advantage. If you're building furniture or doing glue-ups where speed and pressure matter, gear clamps can be a real time-saver.  Genno / Gennou Hammer: A traditional Japanese hammer. It has a dual-faced head, with one side flat for starting nails or striking chisels, the other is slightly convex to finish nails cleanly without damaging the surface. Find Japanese hammers here.

 Grinding Jig:A grinding jig can also be referred to as a fixture, guide or stop. You mount your edge tool in the jig for controlled sharpening on a sharpening system. Find grinding jigs here.
